Cride

A ride-hailing app with a twist — “your ride & job partner” — book rides and find driving work in one place.

The Cride ride map — a route plotted across the city during a booking.

The problem

A two-sided marketplace risks becoming two confusing apps in one. The design had to serve riders and drivers cleanly without diluting either.

Overview

A ride and a livelihood

Cride is a ride-hailing app that doubles as a job partner — riders book trips, and drivers find work. I designed the full mobile experience: booking, tracking, and the driver side.

Two audiences, one app — kept simple by designing each side's flow clearly.

What changed

  • A two-sided ride-hailing app — booking for riders, work for drivers.

What's still open

  • An earlier project — shown here as mockups of the design work.

What I learned

A marketplace works when each side's path is obvious on its own terms.
