The problem
A messaging app is deceptively hard — a few core screens used constantly, dozens of states, and no room for friction. Every repeated moment has to feel effortless.
Overview
Messaging, end to end
ROKiT Chit Chat is a full messaging app — one-to-one and group chats, voice and video calls, media, backups and settings — plus a kid-friendly version. I designed the entire surface, screen by screen.
The craft is in the small, repeated moments — the chat view, the call, the group — getting each one right across a very large app.

What changed
- A full messaging app designed end to end — chats, calls, groups, media, backups and a kids version.
What's still open
- An earlier project — shown here as mockups of the design work.
What I learned
The hardest screens are the ones people use every day — messaging lives or dies on those.
