The problem

A video platform is only as good as how little it gets in the way. The design had to foreground the content and make browsing and uploading effortless.

Overview

Short video, two screens

ROKiT Clipz is a short-video platform — a dark, immersive feed, category browsing, upload and profiles — designed for web and mobile.

The design keeps the content loud and the chrome quiet, so the videos lead.

What I learned

For content apps, the best design is the one you don't notice — the content leads.
